BCBS Fep (cross post)

I'm sure I will find out soon enough but I am to curious to not ask. I have BCBS Fep (basic) I will be using an in network Dr. and Hospital for my gastric bypass. I'm just curious how much out of pocket I will have to pay? Anyone have this plan and done it recently? I called BCBS once but the person I talked to was inept at his job so I figured I would wait to see what Dr office said.


Im going to have it done at Baptist Medical in OKC with Dr. Gornichec.

 Good luck on getting any kind of numbers.   I have federal BCBS standard and have not been able to get a good answer either from BCBS or from my doctor's office.   Still waiting for the first of the hospital bills to arrive....

But, at least something will be covered...for that I'm thankful.   

I just had my meeting today with my coordinator. She said with my insurance my total bill for the sergeon would be 100.00!! How freaking awesome is that.

 That's great!!!  Do you have a surgery date yet?
I'm two weeks out from a lap RNY and doing really great.
