surgery days

Im looking to have RNY with Dr. Gornichec at Baptist Medical. Does anyone know if he usually does surgerys late in the week like Thur or Fri or when Drs usually do this surgery? I am trying to plan for how much leave Im gonna need.

eric - i had rny surgery done by dr gornichec 12-17-09.he only does surgeries on tues and thurs.
you will like hime.gotta do it his way though.he is a very careful and cautious surgeon-covers
everything.my surgery was a revision from a lap band he placed in 07,so i've been around him
for quite some time.good luck - david (also from yukon).

I don't have any info to offer on Dr Gornichec but wanted to wish you well with your surgery. I had RNY on March 2 2009. Dr Katsis did mine.  Keep us posted.

Dr. Gornichec did my lap band in 2008.  He is great.  Like any good physician he does expect the patient to follow the advice he gives.  I can confirm David's post, his surgeries are on Tuesdays & Thursdays.  Best wishes with your surgery.
