A Whole Year!!!

Wow, where did the time go?  I can't believe today (12/22) is my one-year surgeryversary!  What a ride it has been!  Everyone that I tell about my surgery, asks me if I'd do it again.  My response without hesitation is Heck Yes!  I'd go through all the complications  again, because I like the way I feel now!  I like the way I look too, but I have energy that I have never had!

I met a new friend tonight and when I told him I had dr. appts. tomorrow in Edmond, he asked what for.  I told him, I had gastric bypass a year ago and I am going for one year visits.  He said, "Wow!  You don't look overweight!"  I laughed and told him that was the nicest thing anyone had ever said to me!  I still consider myself fat, I can see the difference in the mirror, but I can also see all the flaws.  I'm working on those, but I'm afraid those flaws are going to have to have some MAJOR aid from a plastic surgeon!  And maybe that'll happen one of these days, but for now I can cover those up with clothing and be happy.

Thanks guys for all the support!  I couldn't have done it without you all!

Hugs,
Marsha

Marsha~

Happy 1 year Surgiversary!  You look wonderful and I think you've done amazing in your first year.  I know you have many great experiences to come yet!  I think we all see more of our own flaws than others ever do so enjoy those compliments!  *hugs*

Marsha!  Congrats to you.
I'm so happy for you.  You have come a long way.  I just had my year surgiversary too!  Isn't it the greatest thing we ever did for ourselves!

When you are ready for plastics you should go see Dr. Cuzalina with Tulsa Surgical Arts.  He is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!  The price was really good and I am so pleased with my results!

Continue to have a great journey!
