I just got back from Disney World. Yes it was amazing and I rode all the rides with plenty of room to fit!  But, I ate crazy bad and gained 4 lbs.  I weighed 191 this morning and that will not work for me. 

I joined an on-line challenge on the 150 lbs to lose VSG board that starts tomorrow.  I think that is going to help motivate me.  I also know that by posting this on here it will help hold me accountable to stay on the straight and narrow.  I still want to lose 30 more lbs so I am nowhere near done yet. 

Tomorrow morning I will hit the gym at 5:30 a.m. and focus on clean eating, mostly protien with some fruits and veggies.

Last year I told you guys I was going to start going to the gym and I did that.  My goal for 2010 is to complete the half marathon in April for the OKC National memorial run to remember and also to complete a triathalon in August.  I need to get this weight off so I can improve my run time.  Right now I run 13 minute miles and I want to get to 10 minute miles.

It is just dang scary how these old habits just lurk around the corner waiting to suck us back in again.  We can never, never, never, ever give up on this fight.  Our WLS is only a tool and we really do have to work it which means diet and exercise whether we want to admit it or not.

Thanks for letting me share with the only people that really understand this part of me.

Just know that you've inspired me — your bike riding, your running, your trips, your photos, just hearing about you living again. You also are one of the first to offer support when we need it. I know if anyone will accomplish their weight-loss goals, it will be you! So, enjoy your DisneyWorld memories, today is a new day.

Thanks okievicky!!!  I did hit the gym this morning and knocked out an hour workout before work.  I have had 43 oz of water so far.  I brought chicken for lunch and my protien hot chocolate for breakfast.  I can do this!

I think you're going to bounce back to your pre-Disney weight in no time.  It may just be all the sodium in that delicious food.  It's not that you didn't walk enough.  Disney is huge!  

Did you go to Epcot?  Mmm.... tasty!  

13 minute miles are great!  I'm with you and would like to get down to 10 minute miles. 

Protein hot chocolate???  Ooh, please share where I can get some.  Yum!

Hey Girl!  Yes, I am hooked on hot chocolate from Nashua Nutrition.  I got to their website and order it.  It has 15 grams of protien and tastes good. I learned abou it from the main VSG board.

I have already lost the extra weight so you were right, it must have been sodium.  Now I am working to lose some real weight.  I weighed 188 at the start of November and weigh 188 now so I am ready to move this scale.

You still are my biggest motivator.  I need to start working out.  My weight isn't too bad but I have gained inches in my stomach especially.  My pants aren't fitting the same.  I wish I was closer to you so I could have someone to kick my butt in gear.

Thanks Kim!!  This is certainly a battle we have for the rest of our lives but at least now we can be successful!!  I have done great this week despite all the Christmas parties.  I am going to weigh next week and see if it moved.

You can do this Hun I nee dto be working out more myself so I tell you what i will do my best to get on here more often and we will hold each other accountable its too cold for me to go out and too far to my gym but I have a thing like a bow flex I need to work out on more and I will be starting PT for a back issue soon so that will help too.

Girl you look so good!!!!!!  The difference in your pictures is amazing!  I worked out every day this week and ate much less and better foods so I hope the scale rewards me next week.  I took a peek a few days ago and had lost the Disney weight so that is good.
