Yesterday....15 people over for dinner.....3 days after surgery...but I did it.
Actually I was not tempted in the least...
Nothing wanted to pass my lips...well I lie...the stuffing sure looked good...but I didn't , I couldn't...

However, I am having problems getting my liquids and protein in me...I don't want to drink or ingest anything....This passes right...I am still sore...mostly by the port side.
Having trouble sleeping and am very restless....

Is this normal?

Other than that without the best husband in the world, I could not have pulled off this dinner for 15....I truly am blessed....

I am looking to feel positive about this process....

Hopefully its coming....

I'm amazed at what you did.  I managed to only eat some brisket (the leanest I could find and wiped off the grease) and raw vegetables.  It was hard but I did it.  I think to have to cook and have company would just about do me in.  You go, girl!!!  donna

Yes it's normal struggling to get all of the protein and liquids in.  Honestly it took me about 3 weeks before I could drink enough to meet my requirements.
Congrats on making it through Thanksgiving...I think I probably would have killed someone if I had to have 15 people in my house and feed them, regardless if I was newly post o*****t LOL.
