I know I should probably know the answer to this question, But for some reason I don't..lol   I am having the Sleeve, so will I get to go home that day? Or will I stay overnight?  I really don't know why I never asked the doctor or nurses this, but I am thinking that would be good to know..lol

It depends on the doctor.. I know the people who have it done down here at Ft Sill stay overnight to 2 days. It  is gonna depend on how well you do with anesthesia/the op and all that.
Good luck on your surgery.

I was a Walton patient and I stayed one night after surgery with no complications.

I stayed one night after my sleeve with Dr. Walton's partner Dr. Broussard.  Best of luck to you!  It is the most amazing thing I have ever done for myself.  I am 3 months out and feel fabulous!  If you ever come to support group at weight wise say hi!

Dr. B and Walton usually keep you overnight I believe.  I stayed overnight and I know a couple of people that stayed an extra night but I don't think that is very often.

Hi.
If you have no complications, you will stay overnight and probably be released by noon the next day. :)
Dr. Walton is great! You'll do fine. :)
Blessings,

I had the sleeve and was the first patient on my surgery day (7am surgery time).  Everything went well and they sent me home the next morning at about 7 or 8 if I remember correctly.  The happy/pain-free drugs were nice so all the details are a bit foggy for me.

The nurses and staff were amazing!  They were so sweet and encouraging.  I got really attached to everyone who took care of me.  I am forever grateful!!!
Another guy that had the same surgery day stayed for 2 nights, but I think it's because he had the RNY.  I'm not sure about the details on that one.

You're going to do fabulous and be very happy with your decision to go with the sleeve.  It's the best decision I've ever made.
Best Wishes!
