I finally did it! The scales read 198 this morning!!! Now it took me being sick and pretty much being back on fluids only to get there, but I'm there. I hope it stays there, and doesn't creep back up after I start eating solid foods again, but right now, food holds no appeal to me! Have been forcing some soup down, but it doesn't taste good. Just staying hydrated.

Hi all,
It has been awhile since I answered Roll Call. since 9/29 and so here are my stats.
Last weigh in: 337
Now 322
that is 15 lbs in a month and half.
I went to my pcp this past week, and they had done labs last month so got the report on them.
Triglicerites and Choloresteral were good. (sorry my spelling is not real good on this)
My A1C was 6.8 they like it at 6.5 so almost there. In the past it has been 10. and 9. real high and now almost normal. Which was really great news to me. Also, I'm not taking any insulin at all right now. and I am so glad about that...
I have been doing so much more and feeling so good it is amazing how good I'm feeling with having lost all this weight. 184-lbs gone forever. I will never weigh that much again and I am so greatful that I finally went ahead and had this surgery done to save my life.
