- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

I have never been a low carb person, but lately they have taken me over. To get that straight, I'm starting eating the southbeach way in the morning. (Just downloaded the new book on my kindle).
I've been slacking and then Oklahoma came up 49th on the healthy state scale-and that got me to thinking-am I slacking because I'm better off healthwise than most of those around me? POOH on that-I want to be healthy for anywhere, not just healthy for an OKIE.
I was glad to read these posts. I've been struggling with bad habits for a while now and not know for sure how to deal with them. I am not really gaining weight but my clothes are getting tight so I know my stomach is gaining and it scares me. I don't want to mess this up and end up where I was before. I need support also and I think what I need to do is stay online here so I can get the swift kicks in the rear that I need. I believe in this surgery and I believe in the folks that are on OH. You guys have always been there for me and I want to pay it forward. It always seems to help me to know that I am not alone in this continued struggle with food. Hang in there.
