Ive got a date

So i got the call today...I am approved and my surgery date is set for 11/25/09.. Yes the day before Thanksgiving!!

Congrats. I know you are excited. It will be cool to celebrate your "surgiversary" around Thanksgiving every year.

Congratulations!! Any day is a great day to have this life changing surgery!!

PERFECT day for it! Plus you get the added bonus of not being expected to prepare or eat anything...plus, no cleaning up.....AHHHHH what a great day!!!!

Okay, So I got some bad news today.  They submitted my paperwork for the RNY not the sleeve...so they have to resubmit it with the sleeve... Kinda upsetsme cause I changed to the sleeve 2 1/2 months ago and sit there and watched as the Dr and Nurse changed it int he system!!  Oh well..Hopefully it will be approved just as fast as the other. I know my ins pays for it because there have been several people where I work who have had it done!! So I guess I will hurry up and wait.......again!!  Still shooting for the Nov 25 th date!!
