Anybody else absolutely FREEZING?
I was at a football game Friday night, temp was about 46 or so, I had on 4 shirts (long underwear, t shirt, denim shirt, zip hoodie), jacket, thermal underwear, jeans, and I was wrapped in a heavy blanket and I was STILL freezing. My daughters band director said, bet you wish you had some of that extra weight right now to keep you warm and then told the Asst. band director if you have the surgery this is what you've got to look forward to. I kind of laughed because it's the first time anyone has suggested that I should gain some weight even though I knew he was just giving me a hard time. The great thing was that I was fairly comfortable this past summer and I was in the quick weight loss stage, wonder how it will be next year. For the game next week I'm going to dig out my insulated coveralls that swallow me now and get hand warmers!
Ya know, I'm weirdly the opposite of what seems to be everyone else who has had WLS. It seemed that the thinner I got, the hotter natured I have become. I am one who sleeps with the ceiling fan on, 365 days a year. I usually sleep under a sheet and just the comforter with my legs sticking out. I despise socks (only wear them with boots and my Docs, and then they are always thin socks). I keep the air conditioner on in my house until it snows haha. Y'all should feel sorry for my poor husband~ I think I freeze him out of the house =P. I really never wear a winter coat unless it's extreme cold (I wear hoodies instead) and I wear no socks or shoes around my house, ever. Yeah, I'm different, I guess.
