My vacation

I'm still on it, and I can't upload pictures cause I left my cable at home-but when I hit 2000 minutes of walking (my monthly goal was 1200) I quit tracking for the rest of the month. Now, it's not walking the appalachian trail, but dunes, cobblestones and hills have all been involved, as well as stairs stairs stairs.
There is no way I could have spent a 12 hour walking day a few years ago without being in serious pain for days afterward.
I told my friends the story of going to the Aquarium to see the Great White Shark and then not being able to make it down to the beach to see the elephant seals. It has been such a true joy to be able to walk anywhere I wanted to go, and see all I wanted to see.
Blessings,

Girl, I am going back just for the biking. Possible bike days were rainy and windy, but I drove out and the trails are AWESOME, beautiful and SAFE. They wind through dunes and forests and by the sea.
Out of 10 days, I only had one day of little walking though-a light day was 4 hours or so, a heavy one was 10 plus.
But, the entire cape is bike crazy. The trail system intertwines and connects and I think you could ride from one end to the other quite safely.
I am looking in to the possiblity of getting a bike shop to set up MY bike there if i ship it. Driving it (safely) would cost thousands, so it really makes more sense to ship the bike and fly, and I will just have to accept that I'm not a bike setter upper and work around that.
My ankle is very ready for biking again-I'm not in pain, but I am tired, and eager to see if the walking has made the riding any better.
