Hair loss
I had my surgery in Feb and after 3 months of not losing any hair...I thought I was out of the woods...Month 4, brought the hair loss and all the fears! I thought about cutting my hair, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I had never lost this much hair with any other surgery I have had. I was having to cut my hair off the vacuum cleaner every week and it was filling the brush before and after I washed it. I do think the protein issue was the main problem.
I felt like my dog, shedding all over everywhere, BUT it has all slowed down now, which is month 7, since the surgery. I am sure now that I won't be bald. I take the Biotin twice a day, but I never changed shampoo's from my cheap ones. I did dilute it down somewhat, as to not be so harsh on it. With taking the Biotin, I have great nails and the hair on my legs are growing like weeds but the hair on my head is slow......I keep a hair serum on it, which I always had oily hair and would never have done before. This seems to put some essential oils back into it.
Everyone will tell you that their hair changed conditions or textures or something....Each person is so different with their issues and their hair. All I can say is that, yes it falls out and yes it does stop....I prayed it would come back in curly but it's still straight. Just keep your vitamins coming and I would take the Biotin. Hang in there. Time is all it took so just hang in there.
