Syntrax Nectar...not good hot!

So I've discovered that my favorite brand of protien is the Syntrax Nectar, I like that it mixes with water and has an easy-go-down flavor. My favorite flavor is Cappichino. So I get this bright idea that if I like it cold, I'm sure to like it hot...WRONG. When I tried to mix it with the ho****er it did something to the powder, it's like it cooked it or something, so basicly there was an oatmeal like layer of lumps on the top of my cup...yeah it was NASTY. Just a warning...Nectar is best served cold unless you want to take it with a spoon....and chew it.

Sounds like it scrambled.  When I do warm protein I just use tap water.  Maybe try that next time?

I did finally figure out yesterday that Nectar dissolves better when the water is warm.  I always have problems with clumps because I was using really cold water.  Wasn't paying attention to what I was doing yesterday and used warm water and it turned out great.  I always drink it over ice anyway, so the warm didn't matter in the long run.  BTW, Nectar Roadside Lemonade with a packet of Ocean Spray Cranberry Lemonade sugar free drink mix...DEEEELICIOUS and not milky at all.
