Our State Fair is a Great State Fair, don't hurry, don't even be late...

I love that song, I love that movie and I haven't been to a state fair in probably 25 years.  Yes I managed to live in Texas for 20+, often just miles from Fair Park, and never went.

This year I'm going to go!

I hope to get to go this year...it's a tradition to always go to celebrate my bday (which is wednesday!!) but this year I bought my boyfriend monster truck show tickets for his bday (which was last friday) and so that's what i'll be doing this weekend. Maybe I'll get to go the next weekend instead!
