Kids say the darndest things....

Last night some friends were over and there were a couple of people that I have recently met. Anyway, we wound up looking at my before and after pics. Everyone is oohing and awwing when my 4 year old says "You used to be a big fatty back then huh mommy?" The funny thing is she never once mentioned my weight before surgery...maybe she is smarter than I give her credit for and knew that wasnt a good idea...lol.

lol....oh my goodness...Miss Thang cracks me up!!! Yes, kids do say the darndest things.

I think the real truth is that she loves you for you, unconditionally, and did never thought you were "a big fatty" back then, and only sees it now that you point it out to her! Congrats on all your success! You are a true inspiration!

I almost spit out my water reading this LoL~  Sounds like something Krysten would say, but I know they don't mean any harm or meanness by it.  Kids DO say the darndest things, for sure!

How funny!!!  Matt tells me, "You're almost skinny, Mommy!"  I can't wait for the day that he tells me that I AM skinny. LOL

Yeah, that part is nice. She calls me "skinny mommy". You wanna talk about gettin a smile from ear to ear! My 11 year old son decided this weekend that he could pick me up...AND HE DID! several inches off of the ground! Granted I got the worst wedgie ever...but that was COOL!
