Stalls are so frustrating

I hate stalls! I have been stalled out at the same weight for two weeks now...blah. I knew before it happened though that it would. I really have stepped up my working out the last few weeks and I knew once I started working out hard again my body was going to start to gain muscle...and freak out a bit. I went from water aerobics two days a week, and walking to 2 days of water aerobics, 2 days of dance classes, and 3 days of a workout called CrossFit (www.crossfit.com) a week.  It doesn't matter how prepared you are for a stall though, they still are disappointing, especially when you are busting your butt working out.

Thanks for letting me rant and rave

Hang in there, Holli. You'll be losing again very soon. :)

Make sure to keep in mind that this is your body's way of keeping up with itself.  And even though you may not be losing in pounds, you're still likely losing inches.  You're doing great!

Yep, I know the feeling.  I haven't posted on 'Weekly Weigh in' for 6 weeks because I have only lost 2 lbs in that time, ICK!  But today the scale finally showed a 1 lb loss, :) So, keep your spirits up & keep working hard, you are so worth it!

I dont think you are stalled..sounds more like the body is playing catch up to what you have lost already.
I would suggest that you increase protein and water..tht should shake up the bod some...I have a friend who does a carb day to get her body to wake up again....
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

thanks everyone! Patti- those are some good ideas. I started increasing my protein drinks yesterday from one a day to three a day. I'll really push more water too!

I'm in agreeance with Pattye on this one~  I'm sure your body is just playing catch up.  It sounds to me like you're doing the right things!  Remember:  Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint!  Keep up the great work and see you soon when me and the hubby join up with Crossfit!

I hear ya Holli. I was on a 6 week stall. it really irritated me. Now I am on a stall again. I hate them. The closer you get to your goal the more they happen. It stinks.
