I am two weeks post op from my 13th surgery...and I now am the not so proud owner of two pockets of blood...but half of the staples are gone .WHAT  have i learned in this time frame... I have been blessed up to this surgery with not alot of pain, I will never ever look at drain tubes again with the same dislike..now its more so... I wont tease the nurses in the hospital about sneaking out of my room to go to subway....
I will allow people to do for me when they ask..even if it means a super sweet guy driving from douglas blvd in midwest city all the way to penn and memorial to bring me general tso chicken at 10 pm, at night or going to get my pain meds....
I will be more patient and understanding of others when they say i took the easy way out of losing weight
I will thank all those who have been a friend, a peep for being there for me

To those who have known me for the time I have been on OH and have sent me support, love, laughs and encouragement...thank you..to those who have read my posts and got a laugh or I have helped you...thank you for giving me your time...

Hugs

Bless your heart, Pattye. I know you have been through the wringer and back again, yet you have maintained your positive attitude, and when you couldn't quite get there, you've relied on your sense of humor. I congratulate you for allowing others to help you. You have certainly been there for others; now it's time for you to let others be there for you. My prayers continue.
Blessings,
Mary

Pattye,
Oh dear, do they have to evacuate the blood, or will it just re-absorb into the system?  I hope you don't have to have anymore procedures.  I'll keep you in my prayers :)

The way I was told if its not gone down by next week then he will see what he can do. I know he doesnt want to do anything else right now unless its an emergency..I offered to have the drains pulled and have a nurse to come in and pack me..It would hurt more than anything but I know that way it would drain out..He vermently said NO..That my idea would be of last resort due to the pain..and my not wanting to be on strong pain meds..
God will see me thru this .... cause the devil cant handle me yelling at him...
thank you

Pattye,
You are remarkable, and you can't lose that sense of humor, maybe misplace it at times as I have, but never lose it.  I'm here for you, I'm going to email you my home email and cell number, you can call or text me anytime you want/need to.
Take care, Jules
