Good will

I thought I would check out our local Goodwill store to see if I could get some bargains. Wow, I was really disappointed in the selection that they had here. I kept hearing raves about how good it was.......I guess they just can't keep my size in stock or something. I did get a pair of PJs for $4.00. PJs have become my new best friend because I freeze all the time especially at night. So, I guess I will try the thrift store that is here and try Goodwill again next week. I want to get some sweaters or long sleeve shirts without spending an arm and leg doing it.

I love GW... But I was disappointed with the one's here in Lawton too. I could not find much, but it may be because school just started back and ppl have been back to school shopping. I just wanted some T~shirts to work out in, but no luck.

The lady working at the GW told me that they usually have a better selection. I am going to try again in a few days. She said they get trucks two times a week.

Altus has an ok Goodwill, but the ABC Thrift Store and Salvation Army store are better.  Have you tried the Salvation Army or any thrift stores in your town?  Also, try clearance racks or 1/2 of 1/2 Name Brand Clothing (if there is one in your town).  You can usually score a great deal doing that!  I also bought a ton of my clothes at Wal Mart when losing weight (even now, too, from time to time).  They have great prices and good selection.  Hope that helps!  *hugs*

thanks Renae. I bought some really cute blouses at walmart a few days ago for $6 a piece. Not too bad.

I have been to GW here in town a few times now.  I have gotten new PJ's too.  Since my surgery is coming up Thursday I wanted to make sure I was stocked up.  They had a sale Friday I think, 25% off.  That might be why they didn't have much.  I know I heard the ladies that worked there talking about how busy they were all day.  I closed the place down!  LOL!  I haven't found a lot there.  I'm going to check out the one in Owasso.  Its on 86th street across the street from Reasors.  Where KFC used to be.  I won't be checking it out until I feel up to shopping again, but soon!  Very soon!  LOL!  I know, I will need a COAT this year.  I haven't had a coat in so long.
Good luck and let me know if you check out the Owasso GW!
