Achieved a Goal
I weighted this morning and have just made one of my goals!!!! I am under 350 for the first time in YEARS. And then I checked my BMI and it has dropped nearly 30 points. It went from my highest weight of 506.75 and a BMI of 86.8 to this mornig a weight of 349.8 and a BMI of 59.9. I am feeling so good and am able to do so much more than I had been able to in the past. There have been so many little things happening that have made me feel so much better about myself and feel so good about the weight that I am finally losing and know that it is staying off now.
Last night at church we had an Ice Cream social. and there was no sugar free ice cream so I dug in my purse (where I keep a protien bar) and sat there at the table with everyone eating my protien bar. while they all had ice cream. there was even a couple of commits made about it. Because I was sticking to what I know I need to be doing.
Nicely done!!

Just remember, when you munch a protein bar instead of ice cream-you are setting a great example.
Now- adays it's pretty politically correct to have sugar free ice cream at something like that-because there are some people who have no choice, and some people who WANT to have a choice. I actually boycotted our Ice Cream Socials at work (we had them quite often****il the provided some sugar free options/and or some fruit juice options. I know that sounds hard core, but the social committee's goal was to encourage people to socialize, and there were several size acceptance people on the committee that thought sugar free options was anti-large people. Uh no. We had several diabetics on staff, and when I was doing no white sugar that's what I meant....thank you very much.
I'm also anti food police-but I won't get started on THAT....LOL.
