I did something
the other day I never would have thought about doing before I had my surgery. I was a**** and just riding around the store getting some things. and came up on the JMS ladies clothes. Never before would I stop and even just look because I knew that they would be too small for me. But the other day one blouse caught my attention and before I knew what was happening I had found the largest size they had 24/26 I think, and tried it on. IT FIT except for in the upper arms because of all the extra skin I have there from all this extra weight I have been carring around for years. It was like WOW, I went off with the biggest grin on my face saying to myself, "I can't believe I just did that and it almost fit!!!" I today I was there again, with a good friend of mine, and I just HAD to show her and tried it on again. won't be much longer I hope and pray until I will be able to go in there and actually buy clothes off the rack. Something I have not been able to do for YEARS!!!!!! I think the last dress i bought off the rack at a store was while I was still in High School, and I graduated in 1974!!!
Now that has me thinking that Ireally need to get busy and get me some new clothes made, and cut them according to the pattern instead of adding 1 1/2 to 2 inches to each seam. what a different feeling that will be..

I am so happy for you.. You go girl!!!! Two years ago I wore a size 30-32 or a size 5x and I had to get to specialty shops or big mens stores to shop and it is such a great feeling to know that you can walk into any store and buy anything you want. Now I am in a size 10 and still losing. I wish you the best and keep us posted on your progress.....
