Yes, and some of that will even out-you really CAN carbo load a bit and ride the next day and not gain weight AND have more energy.
But it freaks me out to do that-what if I can't ride....aaaggh.
So, I use GU right before or during a ride. Actually, if it's hot, I'll take a Glu shot before mowing the lawn too. (RNY people should never use GU or most of the other stuff bikers use-it's full of carbs)....heck, I'm a bandster and full power gatorade will make me sick.
I know I haven't posted in a couple of weeks, and no excuses either. just a lot of stress here with my daughter again, she got herself in trouble with the law and wanted me to bail her out, but I didn't.
And so with all that I know I had not been doing what I should have been doing in taking care of myself first.
so last weigh-in was 358
and this morning was 353
Difference of -5 but that is over a 2 week period too. so I am working on getting back on track.
