Restriction???
I am almost 9 months out and I have been noticing that each day is different with my restriction.....
Somedays I feel like I am eating way tooo much, while other days I have restriction right away. This just makes me a little nervous as I go into panic mode the days my restriction is less... I am trying to eat my protein first. I just wish I could kick these carbs.. Still can't figure out why they go down soooo easily. Just wondering if anyone else feels like this??
Thanks a bunch
Candee

Candee, I totally relate to this. Carbs go down really easy for me too and lately I have had way too many of them and I really have to watch it. Start journaling every thing you put in your mouth. I am going to start doing this again too and hopefully it will work. As for restriction, it really depends on what I am eating. Somethings like soups and stews I can eat quite a bit of so I have to watch that. I have started measuring my food out again in to 3 ounce portions. It really helps me to have better control when I measure. The food scale is wonderful. Good luck. Saying a prayer for you.

No expert here, but I've really decided it has something to do with the stomach being a living thing and most likely hydration levels. Staying hydrated seems to keep my restriction fairly constant. (doesn't mean it's always the RIGHT level, but at least its the same level).
It is interesting how the restriction can be different from one day to the next. Like Debra said, I believe much of it has to do with whether or not we're staying hydrated. Plus, what you're eating will make a difference. You can eat less when the food is more dense.
Carbs are like crack cocaine to some of us. That may be true for you. If so, you've got to get them out of your house. If you could get through a carb purge, it would help you so much. The first 3 days would be no fun, but after that, you'd feel so much better. It would be a new beginning. Try it. You're much stronger than you think, Candee. :)
Blessings,
Mary

I noticed this also. Some days I can eat more then others. Even protein. I always eat on dessert plates so my plate always seems full.
I have started snacking on beef jerky. Only about 1-2 oz over the whole day but I chew chew chew it to mush and its protein too. That seems to curb my appitite for carbs too. Plus I don't feel guilty for eating it.
I also do the dailyplate.com. It helps to see what I'm eating. Sometimes I was beating myself up for eating something when I wasn't even getting in all of my calories. When I journal it I know exactly where I stand for the day.
Good Luck!
