TRYING TO DECIDE

Went on the river cruise with the family Saturday for my birthday.  Had a blast.  Was such a great day.  We went to my sister's after for dinner.  Some how we got to talking about us moving back to OKC.  Kate (my daughter) was there, and I know she has been wanting to move there for quite some time, but never has had the money.  Since she is living with us now, she piped in about how she would still like to live in OKC.  Dessie said she really didn't care where we lived, as she gets her disability anywhere, and we would all like to be around family.  My nephew kept saying, "Y'all are moving back".  So, have applied on line at MidFirst Bank where my nephew's wife works and my other nephew.  We MIGHT be moving there, if I can find a decent job.  I am putting out my feelers, so if anyone knows of something, would appreciate a holler back.  Michael

Hi, Michael.
I will certainly be praying about this for you and your family. I'm sure you know these verses, but it's always good to be reminded: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path" (Proverbs 3:5-6). God has a plan for you, and it's good. :)  Since having a job before you move seems to be very important (and wise), let that be your guide, too. Pray for God's will in that area. Things will fall into place, one way or another, and you will know what to do, step by step. I think we forget sometimes, too, that unless something is contrary to God's Word, as our loving Heavenly Father, He will say, "I want what you want." :)
Keep us posted.
Blessings,
Mary

Thanks Mary.  You always know the right thing to say.  I am praying for direction.

I am looking for ANYTHING!  (just about).  I would really like to stay in the oil & gas field, and would love to work for Chesapeake or Devon, but I know that is really tough.  Would like anything clerical.  Have applied at MidFirst Bank/Midland.  Like Mary said, am praying for direction.  Michael

That's good.  I would go ahead and apply with Chesapeake and Devon also Sandridge.  You just never know when that door will open.  I work close to Chesapeake and they still do hire on occasion.  Good luck to you and will be praying for guidance for you as well.

Check with a company in Edmond called Adfitech, they always seem to be hiring.
