STUCK!!!
I have friend, and no it's not me, she is having plastics on Sept. 7 and would like to lose another 10 lbs before the surgery and it is just not coming off for her, she has asked me to ask all of you since she doesnt get on this website, if there is anything that you all could suggest she do it is only 3 weeks away and she needs to lose the wt fast. She says she doesnt want to lose it after her plastics just before. I gotta go to work so I will check back when I get home to see if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks Lisa

I'm doing the same thing. My surgery is Sep 3 and I want to lose 8 lbs. If I can do this I will only be 10 lbs from my goal after he does my TT. He said he will get 7-10 lbs w/TT and Lipo. My surgeon feels comfortable that I won't lose a lot more because of my muscle tone. I am watching my carbs and upping my protein. But it didn't help me this week! I lost 13 lbs in the 10 days I was on my liquid diet before WLS but I don't know if it would work the same for this! When you start to eat regularly again it may come back. I'm worried about it too! Atkins maybe? Thomas swears by it. It has helped him lose his weight quickly.

When I went to see Dr. Cuzalina I expected him to tell me that I needed to lose more weight and that I wasn't out far enough. But he told me that I was fine and I would be pleased with my results. I'm going to Tulsa Surgical Arts. I just went for a consult to see what to expect. I really didn't expect to be able to this soon. But he does Dr. Gorspe's patients *(or he refers his patients to him) and I feel like I'm in very good hands.

Kim, that is wonderful. Dr. cuzalina is who I want to do mine when it is time. I sat through his seminar. He was so knowledgable. At that seminar is where I heard him say the 1 year stable weight. I am sure he judges that on a case by case basis and that was just a generalization. I know several people who have used him. At the seminar he showed slides and his work is incredible. I was impressed with it. I will be praying for you a speedy recovery and successful surgery. I am so jealous.
