Job Interview On Monday

Please pray for me on Monday.  I have a job interview on Monday and I am really hoping it will be the one.  I am still pretty sore from my recent surgery and have been fighting with bouts of depression, but I am trying to be optimistic about this job.  I don't dare get my hopes up as the last couple of job interviews fizzled on me.  I know there is a job out there with my name on it but it has been a long 11 months without a job.

Thanks again for all of your support.

The right job will serendipitiously land in your lap.  If it's meant to be it will be.  Go in there, attitude positive, walking tall, and get the job!  Don't interview for it, take it!

I do believe the right job is out there, but it has been a little frustrating so far.  I really thought the last job I interviewed for was mine.  The interview went very well and I felt very good about it and then nothing.  It was very disappointing.  My qualifications fit this job very well but in today's economy, you just never know.  I have a lot of experience but there are a lot of people out there with as much or more and the market is very tough as I'm sure you know.

I do appreciate everyone's encouragement.  I know how to be a "go getter" but my self-confidence has been a little lacking lately.  I do believe in God's timing though and not mine so I'm trying to be patient.

I am praying for you to have favor over the other candidates if this is the right job for you.  I am prayaing for you to have the right words to say during the interview.  I'm also praying for the depression to pass.  Hang in there....oh and have fun picking out an interview out fit now that you are so skinny!!!

I am finishing up school right now so I haven't been job hunting for a long time, but my sister-in-law that lives with me has been looking for a job for a few months now and it seems like a rough time to be looking.

Keep us posted!!!

Hi, Kim.
I remember almost canceling an interview for a teaching job. I was so depressed, I didn't think I could even get dressed, much less get the job. Somehow, I got up enough courage to get ready and go. I guess that was easier than dealing with a "what if..."
I drove into the school parking lot. I was early, so I sat in my car and took a few minutes to pray. I asked the Lord to help me "put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness," even to help me "fake it" (a peaceful me). I was being very honest with Him. I knew He knew it all, anyway. :)
With God's help, the love I had for kids and teaching came through during that interview, and out of many applicants, I got the job. I was at that school until I left to focus on my physical healing.
Kim, God knew all that you would be dealing with over the past year. He knew you could not have handled a job above everything else you were dealing with. You are healthy now. If you want this job, it's yours. How's that for faith talking! :)
You just go in dressed one level above how you'll have to dress for the job, have a nicely firm handshake, a smile on your face, great eye contact, and just let your precious personality shine through. Before you go in, pray and claim the promise, "My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus." :)
Oh, and when you get back home, send a thank you note. :)
(((Hugs & Prayers))),
Mary

You are so awesome. I am going to do my very best and the rest is in God's hands.  You remind me so much of my precious mom.  She would've said the same things to me.  It is wonderful to have a Christian to give me the widsom that my mom would've given me.

Thank you to everyone.

I will so be praying for your interview.  Have faith.  I know VERY well what you are going through, being out of a job for quite a while (and out again).  For a while, couldn't beg, borrow, or steal a job.  Was really frustrating.  But, something will come through for you.  Again, all it takes is the faith of a mustard seed.  Michael
