Ok, I posted this once and it went somewhere, so if it gets posted twice.. sorry!

I was at Weight Wise today for my six month check up, even though it's been nearly 8.  I saw Jess, Dr. Walton, and Dr. Keller.  I got good reports from everyone, just a little tweeking I need to do.  I haven't been eating on a consistent schedule, so that's one thing I have to do.  I've been eating one meal in the middle of the evening and sometimes nothing else.  That didn't go over very well...although it worked for me now, it won't in the long run, so get out of the habit now.  Ok, I can do that.  I have been lax with the exercise, so I have to get my butt in gear and get going!  I can do that too....just have been lazy.  I have officially on their scales lost 98 lbs., on mine more, but that's ok, I'll go with theirs on their books.  I wanted to stay for support group, but was meeting a friend at 4:30 then needed to get home.  We're having a huge cookout on Saturday for my mother's birthday so I have to go to her house early tomorrow.

As for my shopping find.  My friend that I teach with wears those Flexee bra/support tops.  She told me about them, and I tried one like she wears but it wasn't comfortable.  I was at Ross the other day looking for school clothes and I found one that doesn't have the built in bra, or at least I have to wear a bra with it, but it's nice and supportive.  I wore it today...OMG!  It's wonderful!  I went back to Ross today and bought one in every color.  It's like a camisole, just tighter and holds everything down!  I think it would work for workout gear also....underneat shorts and shirt.  The best thing is it was only $7.99!  It's long enough that it pulls down over my hips so it even holds my butt in place!  Woohoo!  You girls who was talking about these things the other day might check them out!

Hugs,
Marsha

Congrats on the 98 pounds. I only hope I'm as successful at 6 or 8 months.
Since you mention our WW crew got onto you for your eating schedule, I have a question. I've heard two different schools of thought: eat only when you are hungry; and eat three meals a day (no snacks). That can't mean the same thing. Do you know which it is? My two-week diet class is Monday, so I should see things clearly then, I hope.
Again, congrats.

Thanks Vicki!!  I was under the impression to eat only when I'm hungry also.  That's what I'd been doing, but when I told Dr. Keller that he said, but you don't feel hunger now.  We messed with your hunger trigger.  Then Jess and Dr. Walton told me the same things...three meals a day...no snacking.   Dr. Keller explained it to me that it would prepare my body for when the hunger does come back.

I guess I was mistaken, so am going to change things now.  Good luck, you will be successful!

Hugs,
Marsha

Thanks for the heads up on the Flexee bra/support tops.  I was at Ross this weekend and bought one and wore it on Sunday.  It was AWESOME!!  Well, yesterday after work I went to a different ross and bought more and other colors.  You are right in that they are supportive over the bra and go down over the hips for more support over the muffin top and....it stays down and doesn't slide back up.  They are much much cheaper at Ross too.  Next best thing to plastics for those of us who arent' there yet!!!  I love it when you guys share you new finds!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
