Weird -- and hope it never happens again!

I am almost 13 months post op and tonight I had my first, and I hope only, experience with dumping! I had bought some chicken salad from walmart for dinner. within 15 minutes of eating I suddenly felt nauseous, lightheaded, and shakey. I also had heart palpitations and abdominal cramps. It passed in about 30 minutes but it was a long 30 minutes! What an awful feeling it was! I will be happy never to experience that again. I should not complain because I have had such a smooth journey and have not been sick a day since surgery (not even a cold) but this beat any illness I have ever had.

Sorry you had the problem, have you ever had the foamies?  I have had them 3 times and they are terrible.  I had the sleeve in March of 2009.  I have been very lucky so far, as I have only had the foamies, and I never want to have them again.  Hope you feel better soon.

I have had a couple of mild cases of the foamies if I have eaten something too fast, but that was nothing compared to dumping!

If dumping is worse than foamies I sure do not want to have dumping.  I am sorry you had the dumping and hoping that you will not have them again.
