I am addicted to weighing everyday. I want to stop but I sometimes need that gratification and when I don't see a loss or the weight fluctuates, I am not in a very good mood. I am going to do my best to stay off the scales this week (I did weigh today) until next Wednesday and see if that helps my attitude during the week. I just pray for a good loss when the week is up.

I still pretty much weigh every day.  Just because it keeps me focused and I know if I fluctuate what I have to do.  Sometimes I go for a few days, but I still weigh daily.

Because it's new to all of us and WANTING to see the scale instead of avoiding it, I personally think it's fine and keeps us on the straight and narrow...just remember that it can stall and hang at a number for several days, even go back up a little then back down lower, so in effect, it's more frustrating to see it do that everyday BUT, I'm like you, I can't NOT do it right now! I think when I'm closer to goal then I'll be less anxious--but we'll see!

Just don't let it get you DOWN! Don't let that make you have a bad mood! You had the surgery and you KNOW it's going to get better every day for you, so relish that and stay optimistic--don't let your head think you're hungry!

I weigh everyday too.  It's good for accountability.  I know if I drop too much in 1 day, I'm not getting in enough fluids.

hey there ~

ive struggled with this too. and have come to terms with only weighing every few days cause then you know if your taking all the right steps and measures to take care of yourself that you will be pleasantly surprised when you do finally weigh yourself :)

i think this is a problem we all have dealt with or am still dealing with during this process., you are certainly not alone :)
i know it was torture when i was away for a few days from home at the beginning of this week and i couldnt weight myself while at a friends house! so i still struggle myself but have gotten better. i remember right after my surgery a few times id even pop a quarter into those machines that weigh and give your horoscope and see what weight they had to say during times i wasnt near the scale!!
(by the way, dont waste the quarter. 2 outta 3 times they are WRONG!! lol)

i hope for the best for you!

I weigh everyday also.  Sometimes I skip a few days but if I don't weigh regularly I tend to start eating bad, weighing keeps me accountable and focused.
