If I didn't have to wear my glasses all the time to see everything, I'd so be going with the cute sparkly readers and I'd have the leash because I can't keep up with anything if it isn't attached to me.

I just wore readers daily until I couldn't stand the headaches it gave me: since both eyes actually have different prescriptions that's what caused it...and I don't really need distance help either....BUT I have great insurance and have two different pair of bifocals and an Rx sunglasses pair as well and frankly, I enjoy wearing them most of the time, and if I could afford it, I'd have Rx glasses in lots of colors and shapes!! Accessories, baby! Perhaps a different pair for 5 days of the week...one pair in each basic color group? LOL. Oh, yeah, I also have contacts! Just waiting to get colored ones next!

I have to do prescription readers for the same reason....and if I didn't work FROM my computer screen (if I did transcription or something else where I had to glance) I'd have to have reading glasses and working glasses. (that's probably why accounting always gave me a headache but doesn't account for the pain in the A## it gave me).

Yes, it may look stupid, and others may think you're old -- but, who cares?

That's whats so funny, that I cared, at least for a moment.  I'm over it now.  I loathed the two sets of glasses I bought last year, but dutifully wore them for the year and am glad they are gone.  They (well see avatar) were oversized when I bought them, and then when I lost more weight the just overpowered me....so I tossed them with great joy into the donation bin this year!

OH CRAP-Insight!

I buy smaller glasses because my face is now smaller too.  Wow.
