VACATION TIME!

I AM ON MY FIRST REAL VACATION SINCE I HAD MY SURGERY LAST YEAR AND I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN BEING SKINNY! WELL AT LEAST SKINNIER THAN I HAVE BEEN IN 20 YEARS! WE ARE IN BEAUTIFUL PORT ARANSAS TX WHICH IS ACROSS FROM CORPUS CHRISTIE! WE HAVE A CONDO RIGHT ON THE BEACH AND I AM CURRENTLY WRITING THIS FROM OUR BALCONY THAT OVERLOOKS THE WATER! I EVEN BOUGHT A 2 PIECE BATHING SUIT THAT I WORE YESTERDAY! WOO HOO! APART FROM INITALLY FEELING SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT MY STRETCH-MARKED BELLY I FELT GREAT IN IT! AS SOON AS I GET PICTURES DEVELOPED I WILL POST THEM. I DIDN'T BRING MY DIGITAL CAMERA BUT I DID BRING A WATERPROOF DISPOSALABLE ONE. WE ARE GOING ON A DEEP SEA FISHING EXPEDITION TOMORROW AFTERNOON BUT TODAY WE ARE GOING TO HANG OUT AT THE BEACH AND THEN GO INTO CORPUS FOR SOME GO CART ACTION! THIS TIME I'M NOT EVEN WORRIED ABOUT WHETHER I CAN EVEN GET IN THE STUPID GO CART, I'M THINKING HOW FAST CAN THIS THING GO CAUSE I DON'T WEIGH 326LBS ANY MORE! I AM GONNA SMOKE MY HUSBAND AND SON FOR AN AFTERNOON AND LOVE IT! AGAIN THIS SURGERY HAS GIVEN ME MY LIFE BACK TO SPEND HAPPILY WITH MY FAMILY! TALK TO YA WHEN I GET BACK!

That is awesome!!! Have fun and enjoy your family! I had a blast on my vacation a few weeks ago and was able to go snorkeling and swam with the stingray!!! It was amazing and something I would have never attempted a 1 1/2 years ago!!!! Life is definately good after WLS!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

We just got back from Corpus Christi last week. We really enjoyed staying on the beach! You have to try the restaurants, Blackbeards and Pier 99.....VERY yummy!! I ordered from the appetizer menu in both places, but both restaurants were DELICIOUS!!
