Last night about 10 I went to refill my water bottle and as I was walking to the kitchen I got a horrible pain in my belly.. I walked to the bathroom and the pain doubled me over and I was like ok this is weired. Of course hubby was freaking out and it kept getting worse. So I automatically think OMG my guts are twisted and all the other horror story type things you think when you have had this surgery. We head off to Reynolds Hospital.......
By then the pain is not as bad and comes an goes (around my belly button is where it was).. I get seen by the nurse and she does the whole 20 questions took my vitals and sat us back in the waiting room. About 1145 we get taken back to a room. The doc came in and listened to my belly took a history and ordered some tests. About 10 minutes later another guy comes in grinning, with a GI ****tail.. GROSS.... if you have never had it .. a combo of Mylanta, phenobarbital and lidocane.. Then came blood work, urinalysis and X rays.. The good news.. My belly is fine (altho I scared the wholy crud out of myseld & the Hubby), but I had a bad UTI and didn't know it. I got IV antibiotics and a RX for more antibiotics and sent home.. I finally made it to my bed at 4am... What a night!

Get better fast!  It is hard once we have this surgery to separate what is happening in our bodies from the surgery itself.  The farther you get out from surgery the more normal you new anatomy will seem.  Hang in there!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Bless your heart. I'm sure that was very scary. How strange that you didn't feel symptoms early on, whi*****reased in intensity. Get well soon, and I know you will take your medicine and drink lots of water. Do I sound like a mother, or what? :)
Blessings,
Mary

That's so sweet. He sounds like a keeper! Keep resting and taking your medication. You'll be up and about in no time.
Blessings & Prayers,
