Anyone else experience this p/o?

I called the doctor this morning because after my two-pound weight gain I wrote about on here earlier, I gained four more pounds almost overnight.  I am only 4.5 weeks post-op and am just not eating enough to explain 6 pounds gained in a few days.  On top of that I have been extremely lethargic (taking 4-5 hour naps daily) and really bloated.  Anyway, I called the dr and they checked my bloodwork from the week before and my liver enzymes were really high.  She said that would explain the weight gain and fatigue and said we would test again on Monday to see where my numbers were.

Trying not to be too concerned, but I am a little.  Anyone else go through this?

I haven't heard of this one.  Sorry.  Do you live close to your doctor?  If not you might want to follow up with your primary care doc also.  Maybe they could talk to each other??
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Dr. W is letting you weigh? I'm so jealous! they won't let me weigh at home for the first 6 mos. But it's a good thing you did if there is something going on with your liver. Keep us posted!

He hasn't said to weigh or not to weigh, so I was just weighing once a week but when my abdomen was becomming obviously swollen and I felt really bloated I weighed myself daily, and every day was another pound. I told Karen I was weighing and she said in those instances it's good to catch it early like I did.

*****Follow-up****

I don't know anything different about my bloodwork, but this morning I was on the losing side again...I'm not so much excited that I lost a few pounds, more excited that hopefully I'm losing some of this bloating and water.  I was REALLY good yesterday about journaling and making sure I got all my protein in, which I think was the difference.

well that's good! hopefully you'll see a steady decrease over the next few days. I'm terrible about journaling, but I do work really hard at getting my protein in. I'll be thinkin about ya!
