Gained 2 lbs?
Well, I gained 2 lbs this week! I have not been eating bad at all, but my doctor has had me adding back "real" food the last week and a half. I am 4.5 weeks out and I have still lost over 30 lbs so I'm not complaining, just wondering if anyone has had this experience. I am hoping it's just my body trying to figure out what in the heck is going on and that the scale will move the other way in the next few weeks.
Anyway, just wondering if this is normal....

Your body is saying "WTF" you give me something I haven't had? And then it stores it up... this is your body adjusting to being given that food back. It is not uncommon and you will see stages of this as you progress between food phases.
The thing to remember is to STICK TO THE PLAN and get off the scale. You will be bouncing around and this is not the time to be driven mad by the scales. Get your water, your exercise and your diet as outlined by your program and things will be ok.
Some call these setbacks...or stalls...but your body has been starved basically and it will hold on to food when you progress to a different eating phase. It is natural and will settle down.
Hang in there you are doing great. Do not judge by the scale - judge by inches and following the plan. It will work itself out.

COURAGE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR BUT RATHER
THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.
I hate when people tell me to keep off the scale. It makes me get on it more!
Anyway, what you are going through is completely normal. I had a major stall when I was a few weeks out then just when I had given up all hope the pounds just started melting off me. You'll eventually notice that your body has a pattern of its own and it will help these weird little phases. Good luck!!
