Support Group Meetings

Ok my Okie friends I have a question...
Is there any open (as in anyone welcome no matter where you had your surgery) support group meetings(in OKC, Normal, The Falls don't really care where I have to drive to at this point).
I had my surgery on Ft Sill (Reynolds Army Hospital) and while they have a once a month "support group meeting" it is mainly geared toward the people who are wanting to have the surgery. Don't get me wrong, they are wonderful people at Reynolds, but I feel like it would be a good thing to find a group that is more for post~oppers.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

YES! YES! YES!

All of OWLO and WW are open to anyone. I know that OWLO has satelitte groups that met all ove rthe sate. you can get afull listing of the at www.owlo.com and all the WW meetings in Edmound are open to anyone.

We are having a face to face at Norman Regional tomorrow at 11 am that is geared for post ops and ran by our own Pattye!  She is even making protien cookies for tomorrow. We would lov eto have you come. It is monthly but there is other meetings they hold through out the month as well that are open.

I can't make it tomorrow (already have plans) wish I had asked a week ago...  I will make it a point of check out that site an find some meeting's I can make.

Since you're willing to drive, come to my group...in Kansas (Winfield)! It's just over the border. ;)
Seriously, I hope you find a group (or 2 or 3) to attend throughout the month. If you ever wish some one-on-one chatting, as an ObesityHelp Support Group Leader and Group Coach, I'm here for you...free of charge. :)

Thanks Mary, you never know I may show up in Kansas for a meeting! With Hubby always off playing Superman I have a lot of free time! lol

I hope we can see you sometimes and would love to have any other of our OH family that wants to come. It will be today at 11 am in the educational center at Norman Regional Hospital.

Weight Wise in Edmond has support groups every Thursday evening from 6- 7:30.  Anyone is welcome regardless of surgeon or surgery type.  We would love to have you come to our group.

Can I get directions?? That would be a good day & time for me!

Integris does one every first Saturday of the month at 10:00, and every third Tuesday at 7:00.  (I think it's 7.)  It's a fabulous group.
