Kim
You have had quite a ride this year.  Its so good to hear that you have such a positive outlook!
I hope your surgery goes well and you are as good as new in no time!
Look at you!  You are only 8 lbs from your goal weight!  I'm happy for you!
Hugs!

It has definitely been a ride.  Technically, I am at goal which is 135 and I'm 133 today.  But Jess thought I could go to 125 so I thought I would try to reach that.  But honestly, I feel great right where I'm at so if I drop more, cool, if not, I'm totally happy where I'm at!!

It is amazing that one year has passed so quickly.  It seems like yesterday that I was at support group listening to you and Kim talk about your recent surgeries.  You guys really inspired me.

Thanks a bunch.  Unfortunately, my surgery is a big one.  I have a peristomal hernia and another little one by my belly button (didn't even know I had that one).  I told them to remove my gallbladder while they are in there because I already have stones.  I had hoped he would also do a tummy tuck but he said no.  My surgery will involve cutting from my belly button all the way down so I'm not too thrilled.  I already have a scar from another surgery I had to have 3 years ago so I know what I'm up against.  I'm hoping he will at least take up my stomach a little (on the vertical line) when he closes me so it won't look quite as bad.  I think he's going to do the gallbladder laproscopically, but if not he'll have to extend my existing huge scar further up above my belly button.  Oh well... I did not ever plan on wearing a bikini anyways!!  I am just praying for an uneventful surgery with no infections.

All of mine have been open my incision starts from the breat bone all the way down to lucy lou and then across ...hopefully he can tighten you up...I am thinking about you..and to honest if I could trade places with you I would. I dont want ANY of my friends goin g through complications.
