For once I dread going shopping for a dress.
I have a wedding to go to on the 25th. Normally I'd be thrilled for the excuse to go buy a dress that I'll likely only wear once, but now I KNOW I'll only wear it once and I hate the idea of spending that kind of money. I'm going to go shopping in my closet just in case I might have something left from when I was smaller, but I'm just about positive that I don't.
I have found one at Penney's that I like, that will be cute with some silver shoes, so I might head over there today to try it on...

I bought a really nice "Jones New York" brand black dress for my cruise at TJ Max in the clearance section for $20!!! It was a regularly priced $150 dress and then had been about $50 and then clearanced. It was one of those after 5 kind of dresses that probably won't be worn again unless I do have another party or fancy wedding to go to but it was a great deal and I love the dress. It also had a stretchy cumberbun type shearring at the waist so it could be flexible on size somewhat. It crossed over the bustline and was quite spiffy if I do say so myself...never in my life have I worn anything like that before!!! I really loved the $20 price tag. I also found another one the same day for a friend with 3/4 sleeves and black as well for the same $20. Great deals are out there if you just have time to dig around. I don't pay full price for anything...EVER. It's nice now though because Omar the tent maker doesn't have to do my clothes and I don't have to be at his..."Catherine's, Lane Bryant or Avenue"....beck and call!!! I HAVE CHOICES!!!
