I'm so glad you are on OH.  I'm glad you wrote!  We are all good people on here and we have lots to say!  LOL!  You should post about yourself so we can get to know you!
Thank you so much for your kind words.  I know my son will love the beef jerky.  I send him some sometimes too.  Of course mine isn't homemade.  He will love it.
I got to talk to him today.  I get so aggrivated with myself when he calls because all I do is cry.  I try not to let him know I'm crying but sometimes I can't even talk to him.  I'm really worried now that I talked to him.  He just told me he has been using his training.  I don't like that because I know what he's trained to do.  He will forever be changed and I just hope he will be ok.
Thanks so much for your post and please keep posting!  We love newbies!!!
Hugs
Kim J!

Kim~  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your son.  My husband just celebrated his 27th birthday over there in Iraq/Kuwait (July 3rd).  My husband is in the Air Force~ God willing, he'll be home in time for Tyson's 1st birthday.  I am thankful for your son and all those in the Armed Forces who continue to selflessly serve our country overseas.  I will certainly keep him in prayer til he is home safe from deployment.  *hugs*

I hope you husband makes it home in time for your baby's birthday too.  I appreciate your husband and his sacrifices also.  I know it can't be easy to have him gone, especially with 2 babies at home.
Thank you!

Kim J,

I was just sending out a small thought for the day for your son.. I have a friend and her boyfriend is fixing to go overseas with the other troops and she is terrified. I shared your story with her and some of mine.. It didn't really do alot to be honest but I think she has a better insight as to what to expect.. I was just wondering how you were doing, and making sure that you were keeping your head up still.. Because today is 1 day closer to your son being home.. Day before yesterday was my 2 month ann. and im down 51.7 so i have a smiley face on today...

Hi Mary Beth,
Thanks so much for thinking of me.  I actually got to talk to my son the day after his birthday.  He called home and wanted to know what day it was.  He didn't even know it had been his birthday.  It was good to hear from him but I have a hard time talking to him because I cry!  I'm a baby!  I feel for your friend.  Its hard.
It sounds like you are really doing well after your surgery.  51.7 lbs is something to be very happy about.  That is great!  You will be at your goal in no time if you keep this up!  :)  I have been at a stall for a while.  Since April 17 I've lost 12 lbs! :(  But I eat too many carbs.  I know what it is.  I could exercise more too!  Bad Bad Bad Girl!!!  I do my elliptical but lately my hip is really hurting me.  I have a dr. apt on Aug 3 and we'll see then if he can fix me!  LOL!
Thanks again for thinking of me and you keep up the good work.  I noticed you  posted a post!  Congrats to you!  You will get lots of support and make lots of friends on here!
Hugs
