Hi, Kim.
I am praying for your son. Prayer is powerful, and so is praying God's Word. I would encourage you to pray Psalm 91 for your son, every day. Insert his name. For example, you could pray,

"Heavenly Father, I thank You that Brad dwells in the secret place of the Most High and abides under Your shadow, Almighty God. You are Brad's refuge, his fortress, and his God. Brad trusts in You. I thank You that you will deliver Brad from the snare of the fowler, from any noisome pestilence. Thank You that Brad is covered with Your feathers and Brad is under Your wings. Your truth is Brad's shield and buckler. Brad will not be afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day. Brad will not be afraid of pestilence or any destruction. A thousand enemies will fall at Brad's side and ten thousand enemies at Brad's right hand, but death will not come near Brad. Because Brad has made You, God, his refuge and home, no evil will befall Brad, and no evil will come near wherever Brad is. Thank You, Father, for giving Your angels charge over Brad, to keep him in all his ways. Thank You that Your angels will bear Brad up so that he won't even stub his toe on a stone! Cause Brad to tread upon every enemy, Lord. Because Brad loves You, Father, I know You will deliver him. He knows Your Name, Lord, and because of that, when Brad calls on You, You will answer him. Thank You that You are with Brad in trouble and that You will deliver him and honor him with long life and satisfaction. Thank You that You will show him Your salvation. Brad is safe, in every way, and I thank You and praise You for that, Father. Thank You that Your Word is true and Your promises are sure. I claim each promise of safety for Brad, in Jesus' Name. Amen."

I will continue to pray for Brad and all our troops. God bless each and every one, as well as the families who carry on without them, waiting for the day they can be reunited once more.
Blessings,
Mary

Oh, that is really nice of you.  I don't think he drinks coffee though.  Every once in a while he will.  But that is so nice.  Thank you!
He would love a letter though.  He said everyone gets mail but him.  I said thats not true because I send him stuff and his girlfriend sends stuff.  But he said he doesn't get stuff like the other guys do.  I guess after this that will fix that!  LOL!
Thank you again!

Kim,

I will be keeping your son in my thoughts and prayers.  Bless him and bless you for making the sacrifice so that we may remain free.  I took down his address and you can bet we're going to fill up his mailbox!

Hugs,
Marsha

Kim:  Prayers go out for your son's safety.  I know you miss him so much and I know you have fears in your heart for him.  We speak Psalm 91 over him.  This helps me so much in praying for my family's safety.  In reading, insert his name through out.  What a blessing it is to know that we have people like your son protecting our freedom.  What a wonderful mother you are to raise him to take on such an awesome responsibility.  Blessings to you and to him.  Michael.

Thank you so much for your kind words and prayer.  I know he must be feeling the power of prayer.  He called me today!  I was so glad to get to hear from him.  He asked me if today was his birthday.  He doesn't even know what day it is.  He said its 130 deg there.   I won't complain about our heat!
Thank you again!
Hugs

Kim,

Hi my name is Mary Beth and I live in Lawton.. I have been on the site for a few months and haven't really said anything, just come in see what everyone has to say and leave. Im kinda shy and don't really know how to strike up conversation with strangers. But this topic kinda hit home. My husband got home in October on a 15 month tour to Iraq( my first deployment, his 5th). I understand the lonesome, worried and scared feeling that you are feeling right now. Just know that there are plenty of people praying for your son and the men and women that he is over there with. I made beef jerkey the entire time my husband was over there and the troops loved it. So this week I think I am going to make some up and send it to your son and the others that are over there with him. So if you speak to him tell them that some crazy lady off of the WLS website is sending him some, and hopefully they won't get to freaked out and throw it away.. LOL... i hope things get easier for you. Just keep your head up because he will be home soon.
