Has anyone had this problem?. My port incision got infected when the doc tried to fill first time he realized it had turned upside down. How crazy is that. I have to have surgery to reopen and place the port right side up. I am at my wits end. Carol

Yikes, Carol. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I'm sure you'll be all better in no time, and then it will be just a distant memory. Take good care of yourself.
Blessings,
Mary

Unfortunately, I have heard of this.  My son has had ports for his chronic transfusions since 1995 and we have had several of them flip over and be downright difficult to access.  Hopefully, they will suture this one in better and it won't be such a pain.  Hang in there!
