Weekend make over...

This is what 180 bucks and some free labor got me this weekend!

I got my home gym room back since my son and his g/f moved out!It is only a 10X11 room, but it works!
So I was in there cleaning the walls and floor and decided to give it a make over face lift... I painted the walls (a grayish green) and pulled up the carpet and had my son~in~law and his friend lay the new flooring. I am so happy with the way it turned out. I got all my equipment in there an there is room for me to do my Wii fit & EA Sports Active and have room for my yoga mat and ball. Here are the pic (and Jordan one of my Danes had to get in the pics)

Thanks... I have been accumulating the equipment the last 2 yrs and finally have it all in one place, I cant wait to use it, hopefully tomorrow I wont be sore (who knew painting for 4 hours would make me feel like a mac truck ran me over)

Good for you! When my oldest daughter left, she gave strict instructions that we were not to change anything...that she'd be back. It was all too true. LOL  If we'd been smart, we would have remodeled her room, and then we could have said, "Sorry, honey. That room is our gym now." :)
I see you have a recumbent bike. Do you like it? Is it hard or gently on your knees? I'm thinking of getting one.

Mary this is about the 5th time he has left home (he is 26) and  I hope he won't be back. He is bipolar and has ptsd and finally got on disability, so he should be able to not have to live with us.

The recumbant bike is not hard on the knees, I like it a lot and use it quite a bit.
