Hello everyone!
My name is Holli. I'm a 27-year-old mother of two, proud wife to my hubby of nine years, and excited to be here. I had my RNY on June 17th, 2009. So far I am down 30 lbs and feeling great! I have had arthritis in my feet (due to multiple surgeries and weight) for a few years now, and am now completely off of my meds and walking pain-free for the first time in years! Of course, I'm only a few weeks out but if things keep going like this, then I can confidently say this is the best decision of my life. I feel like someone gift-wrapped my life and handed it back to me. I'm mainly excited for my kids to get the young mom that they have back. I'm happy I did this while they were young so they can grow up with an active mom I have wanted to be my whole life.
I look forward to getting to "know" everyone on here!

It's always great to have a new loser join us. I like your enthusiasm, it's contagious!
I agree with you about WLS being a great choice. I sometimes wonder how different my life would be if I could have done this 15 years ago when my kids were small, I would have been much more energetic as a mom. No regrets though, I am feeling great & can't wait to see what tomorrow holds.
Keep up the good work, I know you will see even more benefits to WLS in the future.

I'm so happy for you! How wonderful that you have done this while you are so young. It will literally change your life and your future, as a woman, wife, and mother, and on into grandmotherhood. :)

Holli~ I am in Altus, also :) Dr Warnock is also my surgeon! He did my RNY almost 5 years ago~ I have never felt better! I hope to get to know you better and it's great to see someone else in the same town!
