Weekly Weigh In
on 6/30/09 1:34 am
150.2 last week
153.4 this week
+ 3.2
Ok, now I'm over my limit, time to kick in with some better habits (and perhaps not eat sunflower seeds before weighing....LOL) I'm having a salty festival this week, but I think it's due to the heat.
I've GOT to get the protein up somehow-the heat just zaps my desire for it and then the carb cravings kick in. And, I've been keeping a food diary, and there is a huge difference in the days I eat a decent breakfast fairly early and days I don't-so I really need to get back to some basics.
Also (to continue my own pep talk) it's OVER-I'm no longer sick, I'm no longer starving and I cannot make up for the time I was-back on track.
Ok-I'm done-how are you?

I had a wow moment yesterday. I went to Weightwise to learn some strength training. I stopped at the nurse's station downstairs and Amy had to look again at me to recognize me! Of course I've lost almost 100 pounds since the last time she saw me but everyone was amazed at how much I have changed!
I've also found out that my belly button has an end and the knots on my shoes are straight!
Last week: 216
This week: 216
Total lost at 4 years post op: 99 lbs.
It's time to get back on track! This week I'm concentrating on getting all my protein in and reducing carb intake. After I tackle that, I will tackle all my water intake then exercise. One baby step at a time just like when I first had my surgery. Please, Lord, give me the strength to make it thru to the end of my goal weight.
