terrible accident
Hi, CJ.
I'm sorry to hear of the tragic death of your friend's young daughter-in-law. So very sad, and all to avoid a deer. I guess we just react that way, when we are driving. I will be praying for the families involved.
Every morning, when I pray, I pray the following [in part], "Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus I plead the blood of Jesus over myself and my family, over our homes, our cars, our schools, our churches, our work places, and including every believer that we meet." I pray a hedge of protection around each one, too, especially when I know someone is driving anywhere. So often we think of that just when someone is on a trip, but most accidents happen close to home.
I wish truckers could have a separate lane and be required to stay in it. Maybe that's not feasible, but it makes sense to me. Those trucks are so huge and can cause deadly damage to cars and occupants. I know the drivers would never seek to harm other drivers, but still...
Thanks for praying.
Blessings,
Mary

This accident happened in my neck of the woods. I was at work the night this happened we got the 12 year old that was injured (she lost both her mom and dad) she was life flighted to a childrens hospital in kc mo she is now listed in fair condition. There was a another lady who died yesterday she lost her mother, husband and son. My best friends mom was involved in this accident she was not injured but saw the whole thing she said it was horrible. The flight medics I work with spent 8 hours trying to remove the deceased and the injured from the cars they said they have never seen something like this.
This is just so sad. Poor little girl. So much loss in those families. I'm thankful your best friend's mom was not injured. I'll be praying for her, though, because she will need emotional healing. What a string of tragedies.
I'm sure thankful for all you health care workers. God bless you.

I just found out yesterday that one of the people who were involved in this accident was someone who could bring a smile to may face each time I saw him. It didn't matter how bad of a day I was having, he was just one of "those" people. I pray for his son and the other surviving kids him and his wife had especially since they lost four people to this tragic accident.
