I am getting close to my year anniversary.  I have been a little discouraged because I really wanted to see onderland by July 2nd and its clearly not going to happen.  But was thinking back to where I was this time last year and oh my word!!!

Tomorrow I am biking 18 miles in the Tour de Cure bike event in Mustang.  18 miles!!!!  I couldn't even walk or stand more than 5 minutes last year.

I am really hoping to see 199 before the end of my anniversary month.  I am kicking everything up a notch for a "onderland push".    Today I was 206 but not changing my ticker until our official weigh in on Tuesday because I know the "scale bounce" way to well.

Just had to share with my buds.  18 miles!!!!!!   Oh....and I rode 19 miles last night going around Hefner twice!  Not bragging just such a different life than where I was at 350 lbs in 2008.

Amy, you have done wonderful!  I remember seeing you at the office that first day and I honestly doubt I would recognize you now....Change is good! Right?? I have no doubt that you will hit Onederland very soon. I thought my scale was the only one bouncing up and down. It is a relief to know it's not just mine....
You are so strong in your dedication. It is an inspiration to me, and I so appreciate your up-lifting posts.  Good luck in the Tour. You have more guts than I do!

I'm so happy for you, Amy. You really have come so far! I know you want to get into the 100s, and I believe you will. I think when we stress over something, though, it pushes it just out of our reach. The key may be just to relax and let your body do what it needs to do, when it needs to do it. You'll get there.
My goodness--18-19 miles twice, in 2 nights, is amazing. What a miracle WLS can be! What's your next goal? :)
I rejoice with you.
Take A Bow,
Mary :)
