I haven't weighed in awhile-this week I am 150.2-the top end of my range.  Now comes the tricky part, stop gaining (fun while it lasted) and slowly move down to the middle, bottom of the range.

I've never attempted slow weight loss before.  When I'm in losing mode I want to lose as much as quickly as I possibly can, so this is going to be a new thing for me.

Also, I was very uncomfortable gaining even though I had weight to gain, so I didn't weigh while I was trying to put on a few-it was just too uncomfortable to watch.  That's really weird to me, because being underweight was always a dream of mine (sick though that may be) and when it happened I was horrified at how I looked.

So, while being sick was not fun, I did learn many things that surprised me, one of which is how good it feels to want to lose a bit again-it's a familiar feeling.

I haven't posted a weekly weigh-in since May 6.  I kind of got off track and the scales weren't budging and I was so discouraged.  Since I was sick last week and then had the hernia and adhesion repairs last Tuesday I have been back on track and doing well.

May 6 - 233

Today - 225

-8 lbs.

Total:  90 lbs.

I'm going with the totally low carb diet to get this thing moving again.  I have a goal in mind by the time school starts back, so I've got to get busy.

34 lbs. lost before surgery on December 22, 2008.   105 lbs. lost prior to signing up for WLS.

-2. Then again, I'm recovering from a stomach flu. *So depressing* I'm positive that those 2lbs are water. Wish me luck, as I'm going to try eating today.

Week before last:   212

Last week : traveling on business, so not sure, but probably ~215 (I was bad on the weekend)

Today:  213

So,  +1 over the last two weeks, but still barely below Obese and in the Overweight BMI category... works for me, for now.

One of the ladies at day care this morning told me I was going to have to gain some weight - I almost cursed at her, but there were little kids around....

Have a great afternoon!
