I was 170 all weekend!  I just knew I was going to be able to say I dropped 2 lbs this week!  Bummer!  I weighed more  when I woke up then when I went to bed!  I know, I weigh myself way too often!  But It keeps me on track.  It encourages me to exercise more and watch what I eat.

This ought to help you to feel better about your one-pound loss, Amy.

This is what it was last week. I didn't post, because I thought it was a fluke--maybe fluid retention, but clearly, it's a real gain. I hope my dear nutritionist will understand that I am going back to what I was doing before her change in my eating plan. At least then, I was staying the same or losing a pound here and there.
I am NOT going to despair! There is an answer, and I'm going to seek God's face for it!
Love to All,
Mary

Hey there, what changes did chris/jess do to your eating plan? And could it be a thyroid condition? I know they have a new endocrinologist there. Maybe he could help.

Hi.
Well, I was having a slice of bacon, a bowl of high-protein cereal with 1/4 c. skim milk, and a cup of high-protein hot chocolate, and those were taken away. Everything else was approved. Also, I was told not to write down anything other than what and how much I ate. I had been keeping track of the calories, fat grams, carbs, protein grams, and sugars.
If this continues, I'll pursue having my thyroid checked, but, in the past, it has checked out just fine.
All prayers and advice gladly accepted. :)
Blessings,
Mary

Hmm. I can see the other items being restricted (though I still use skim milk in SF pudding), but a slice of bacon now and then? Maybe they know something I don't. I still track what i eat just so I can see if I'm short on nutrients and water. I like knowing the calorie count in case I hit a stall or something.
