Out of Surgery
Hello, it Buffy Hardin.. How have you been? Have you meet your goal yet? I remember you when I had my surgery and I have thought about you since that day. You were very inspiring to me. I see you picture and you look awesome. You look like that you should be at goal now. I have lost a total of 215 pounds. I can't believe it. I have about 5 pounds to go before I hit my goal. I am afraid though now that its all off, keeping it off. Do you have any suggestions on how to maintain and not gain? Again, you look great and you truly have helped me when I was staying there in the hospital.

Not yet Buffy. I have been a real slacker this whole year. 215 pounds is so great. How in the world did you do that? Sounds like you are the one that needs to be giving me inspiration now. It is very scarry and I can see how easy it would be to fall back into those old habits. I must start implementing a plan right away. Once again congratulations, and keep in touch. My best advise is to never never pick up those bad carbs. They will get you every time.
Russell,
Congratulations on getting that plastic surgery! I had a panniculectomy two years ago when I had lost a lot of weight. It was the best thing I ever did. I immediately felt like a new person! I'd been carrying that thing around since high school. Even when I gained back a lot of the weight I had lost, I still felt better, just not having that skin there.
Sherry,
When I had the panniculectomy it was 13 lbs. of skin. My PS thought it would only be 2 - 3 lbs or skin but some fat, he was just amazed when he came in and told me how much it was and that it was skin only, there was no fat in there. The fat was other places on my body. I will have to have more plastics, and a tummy tuck, to fix more, but just getting that big ole slab of flab off my body was such a relief.
Hugs,
Marsha

It's called payments and I have a very supportive wife. And concerning comments made coming out of surgery I have only one thing to say in my defense (MEDICATION!!!) I do vaguely remember saying something along the lines of the rumors that you have heard. And yes I do belief that I am now.
Luv ya,
Russell
