Out of Surgery
I'm glad to hear that you got through the surgery ok and that you will be on your feet soon....I know this is probably personal but how much difference in your weight did the surgery make. I know I have excess skin, but I wondered how much difference it can really make weight wise....I know everyone is also different but I was just curious.

I don't think that I will see a huge difference in my weight, maybe 2-3 lbs. My surgery was about 2 hours shorter than normal because they didn't have to do much lipo because there wasn't much fat left. So pretty much all that was removed was skin. I am amazed at how quick that I have bounced back. I am pretty much done w/pain meds at this point and am going stir crazy ready to go back to work. I am totally excited though, when Dr. Sawan removed my bandages and showed me my new flat belly and belly button I think he was as proud as I was. It is also weird when I sit because I am used to extra skin being in the way. I could go on and on but I am thankful for all that helped me acheive the new me. (380lbs-pre op to 187-lowest weight)
