Phantom Fat and Dysfunctional Appearance Investment
While waiting on my computer to churn out a report today, I ran across this article on MSNBC about body image issues after weight loss. I was hoping they had discovered some magic cure, but alas, not so. It was an interesting article, though, so I wanted to share with my friends who, like me, have first hand experience with this issue.

Be sure to read all the way to the end and then take the advice - go stand in front of your mirror and tell yourself, "Hello, Gorgeous!" and mean it ! - because you are!

Thanks for sharing this John. I think a lot of us are here right now. I don't know if I will ever see that new me in the mirror. I just look and see only the body parts that still haunt me...flabby chin, arms and belly..... We are never satisfied are we? I have to remember I did this for my health and a bonus to that was to look better.
I think my brain is slowly catching up with my body size. But, then I have maintained the same weight for over 6 months now. Now, if only I could figure out how to pay for all the plastics I want I would be set! Any one got a spare sugar daddy lying around??
John, you do look gorgeous! Way to go!
