Is it easier for you to take the heat?
Absolutely! I was just out, sitting on the porch swing, and my neighbor came over and said, "Are you crazy?!" He was dripping in sweat, but I was sitting there, cool as a cucumber. I mean, it was warm, but I felt quite pleasant. I had my ice water in the BEST insulated water bottle I've ever had (my newest rave purchase!), and I enjoyed being outside. Normally, pre-surgery, I wouldn't have ventured out, at all. :)
Just another plus about having had WLS! :)

It has definitely been easier to take the heat this year. I don't even really mind the warmth when I go to open up the car, and I've been out working in the yard several days without any of the panting, red faced exhaustion that I used to experience with only the slightest exertion in the heat.
It just ****** me off that I have to keep a sweat shirt in my office because and I can't take the air conditioning.... also can't seem to stand to get in the pool after the sun goes down, even though the water temp is hovering around 87 degrees. I tried it Sunday night, and my teet were chattering so bad I thought my fillings were going to fall out.
